It's a Masterpiece!
In September this year BAF were commissioned by the National Gallery to produce a unique artwork to cover the giant hoarding in Trafalgar Square.
Undaunted by the scale of the task - the hoarding is a massive 42m X 6.5m - BAF rose to the challenge of cladding this imposing structure.
Working with designer Martin McGrath and the client design team, extensive colour matching and image resolution tests were carried out on the print media to ensure an accurate overall colour balance and integrity of image. After all, this was going to be extremely high profile and there was no room for error,so adjustments were made by our in-house studio to achieve the closest colours and to get the best possible resolution out of the images.
Printed onto a high quality grey black vinyl specifically chosen for its durability and colour reproduction, the result looks stunning.
Hampered only briefly by the unpredictable English weather, the BAF boys donned their wolly jumpers and took to the scaffold towers, installing this huge graphic in just 2 days.
