A Cultural Festival of Pattern Exploration
Friday 5th April 2013
BAF Graphics are delighted to be sponsoring Pattern Power – Superstripe by PATTERNITY at Londonewcastle Project Space, 28 Redchurch Street, London, E2 7DP from 6th-21st April 2013.
Patternity are an award-winning creative organisation that specialises in the exploration and application of pattern. Founded by art director Anna Murray and surface/textile designer Grace Winteringham with a united drive to push the awareness and understanding of pattern. Their unique research archive, design studio and events go beyond the surface, using pattern as a vehicle to engage, educate and inspire.
Visitors at Pattern Power will be immersed in an intriguing and tactile world of stripes as Paternity transport their iconic curation and ethos of ‘celebrating pattern everywhere’ boldly into the real world.
Look up, down and around the 3000sqft gallery space to uncover a rich and inspiring archive of one of life’s most striking and engaging patterns.
BAF Graphics has been instrumental in the production and installation of attention grabbing wall and floor graphics and “pattern led” visuals. The experienced team at BAF Graphics have produced the narrative at the entrance and within the gallery, wrapping the walls and covering all the main surfaces within the exhibition area, floor included, with a variety of high quality substrates and bespoke graphics.
Antony Baglioni, Business Development Director at BAF Graphics, explains: “Pattern Power is a unique opportunity for us to demonstrate to a broad audience the strong impact that’s possible to achieve through the perfect mix of media and digital print.” He emphasises: “Print is synonymous with visual and creativity, and both these concepts completely match with the idea behind Patternity and Pattern Power. ’Inspire and innovate the communication landscape through a skilful and unconventional use of imagery and technology’ is the key message we would like to convey. As an experienced print service provider working across a wide range of sectors, the opportunity to be involved in this stimulating project was one we simply could not miss,” Antony concludes.
