Pattern Power

Friday 5th April 2013

What a great opportunity to play a part in such a unique project. Last night PATTERNITY launched ‘Pattern Power – Superstripe’, a cultural festival of pattern exploration and a project BAF is delighted to be a partner in.

Patternity are an award-winning creative organisation that specialises in the exploration and application of pattern. Pattern Power is indeed a homage to ‘Stripes’ and how they play a part in our lives. Meticulously researched, Patternity left no stone unturned in captivating our attention by bringing together their own Patternity studio pieces alongside works by other established practitioners from their global community of contributors.

Digitally printed by BAF Graphics on a range of media’s and applications, the finished graphics and images are truly impressive. In particular the wall and floor graphics where labyrinths are incorporated that hold your attention with their boldness and simplicity.

Pattern Power aims to immerse visitors in an intriguing and tactile world of stripes and it’s indeed a job well done. But the extravaganza is not a onetime experience as the festival runs from 6th to 21st April at Londonewcastle Project Space, London E2 and is packed with a schedule of activities such as work-shops, discussions and interactive events, brought together by some of the most illuminating minds from the world of Fashion, Art, Design, health, Science Technology, the Environment and beyond to explore the shared impact of pattern on culture.

Graphics and pattern as a whole have always been in BAF’s DNA and what better partnership than for BAF Graphics – an authority in printing life size graphics, to join Patternity – an authority in the role that pattern plays in our lives, by celebrating pattern in this unique way.

Be prepared to be inspired by pattern, in a way you never new possible.
